Sir John Gurdon-TCRS PhD Studentships in Developmental Biology

Made possible by a generous donation in honor of Prof. John Gurdon, Gurdon institute and the Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience (PDN) each will host a fully-funded PhD studentship for the 2027 entry. Deadline of application December 8th!

Our lab was next to John's when we started in 2019. He's always kind and generous to young scientists around him, and led by example to continue doing his own experiments well over 90. We continue to be inspired by his legacy and carry on working on the most interesting fundamental problems in developmental biology.
